Our entrance is located at the rear of the library building located on Ace Road. We have a convenient 24 hour book drop and a handicapped accessible entrance. Indoor and outdoor plant and foliage donations are always welcomed and will be showcased proudly throughout the library.
Our library is centrally located on Ace Road just seconds from the center of town and Route 23 and adjacent to the town’s municipal complex.

Our library welcomes you! Our newly added front foyer is shared with the town’s Health Department entrance and is host to our large community bulletins, sample booksale cart and topical display case.
Our friendly and helpful circulation staff is ready to assist you with all your library needs. You can check out materials, reserve books and dvds from other libraries and update your user information at anytime. All suggestions and new ideas to improve your library are welcome!
Our newly expanded media section is continuing to grow! We have a large collection of books on cds and playaway books, which are small, self contained devices that you listen to with headphones. Our large DVD collection features new and contemporary titles for all interests. Browse our updated children’s collection or our new classics and foreign film section which has more than 150 new and timeless titles from around the globe! Suggestions for new materials are always welcome. All media is free and titles can be requested from other libraries at anytime. Learn a new language or improve your English with our new multi-language media collection which features more than 25 different languages to choose from.
Computer and Internet use is free and available to all patrons. Use any of our 13 brand new computers, which all have laser color printing capabilities. Private, quiet computer usage is also available in our reference room. Music, games and videos can be viewed with sound with the purchase of headphones for $2, which are yours to keep. Children can enjoy our kid friendly computer that features interactive, education gaming with sound, which features popular characters such as Dora the Explorer and Clifford the Big Red Dog. Bring your own laptop and connect to our free wireless internet in any section of the library.
Come browse our reference section filled with current editions on everything from health and finance to law and nature. We have a large collection of state and local history books, including books about Morris County and Butler high school yearbooks dating back to the early 20th century. Private computers with Internet and printing capabilities are available. This space can be reserved for meetings.
Popular young adult books and reading materials are available for teens and families to browse in our teen area as well as books on cds. Students are encourage to come and do their homework and use our quite study rooms to do research and school projects.
Come see what’s for sale in our year-round sale room! Browse hundreds of hardcover and paperback books, VHS movies, kid’s materials and more, all which cost less than a cup of coffee! You could find a gently used copy of your favorite fiction writer or an early edition classic. Your donations are always welcome! Our booksale room also features a comfortable reading area and a meeting table for small study groups. Larger meeting rooms are also available for patrons to reserve during regular library hours.
Families can take a break from reading and enjoy our municipal playground located just outside the library. There is a seating area and plenty of shade.
Our children’s room is bright and beautiful and home to many scheduled library events including storyhours and special adult programming. This room can be reserved for local groups.
This whimsical room features an under-the-sea theme with oversized book furniture which makes for a cozy reading environment. Look through our baby and board books in this room or grab a selection of your choice from our children’s book collection located around the corner.
