Welcome to the Butler Public Library!  As you may be aware by now, your Library is an invaluable resource tool that can assist you with all of your questions, concerns and educational needs.  We are a multifaceted organization that thrives on the support and interest of Butler's residents, so stop by and support your Library!

We are consistently building and re-inventing our collection with your needs in mind.  Our Library boasts an excellent New Book Section, an updated DVD collection and wonderful, free programs for children and adults.  Suggestions and recommendations are always welcomed to help improve our services to you, our valued patrons.  Do not hesitate to contact me with your ideas!

Judi Emering, Inter-Library Loan Department

My name is Judi Emering.  I've been working at the library since 2002.  I started as a Library Assistant and for the past five years, I have been in charge of the Inter-Library Loan Department.

When you can't find what you need in our library, I will be happy to order it from another library for you.  It is usually possible to get books and media from anywhere in the country if it's not available here.  If you have a request, please ask to fill out a request slip at the Circulation Desk and when the requested item comes to us, we will call you.

Kristen Talbot, Program Coordinator

Kristen Talbot is the founder of the Thursday Night Book Club, for adults.  Kristen is also the Web Master for the Library's website.  As the Program Coordinator, Kristen provides Library Programs each month free of charge to all Library patrons.  If you have any suggestions for Library Programs, stop by and speak to Kristen at the Library.
