New York Times from ProQuest Historical Newspapers is available through our Online Databases.  The library offers online access to The New York Times [from 1851 to 2006] that you can click through cover to cover, search by topic, date, or article type (article, photo, comic, birth/death/marriage notice, display ad, film review, etc.).  The historical New York Times presents firsthand accounts and opinions that bring history to life.

Special Needs Services

The New Jersey Library for the Blind and Handicapped (NJLBH) is a free resource for NJ students and adults who cannot read conventional print books because of a disability.  NJLBH  provides a range of services for children and adults including: novels, literature, non-fiction books on tape, in large type or Braille, along with special cassette machines.  Please contact them at the above web site or call Venetia Demson at 609-530-3238.

Libraries By Mail is a free service for Morris County residents who are homebound, disabled or unable to get to their local library unassisted.  Library patrons are able to have books, CDs, audio books, DVDs and more, mailed to them at home.  For applications and to request materials, please call at 973-285-6970.
