Chair Yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is beneficial to all.  In these classes Taylor will lead you through mindful centering and breathing practices and yoga poses with the aid of a chair.  This practice is a great form of yoga for beginners, those with physical disabilities, balance issues or anyone who has trouble getting down and up off the floor.  Benefits of chair yoga include increased mobility, strength, balance, concentration and relaxation.  Ultimately the goal of this class is to leave feeling good!  Please call the Butler Library at: 973-838-3262, or stop by our Circulation Desk to sign up.

 

English Language Conversational Skills Program
When:  Wednesdays
6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
English Conversation Class for non-native speakers. This class will concentrate on proper grammatical use in conversation along with the continuation of understanding idioms and their use in everyday English. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was the reigning god of classical music in Vienna during the mid-to-late 1700s.  His life has been analyzed in books and even films, but little is known of the circumstances surrounding his untimely death.  Take a glimpse into the world of one of music’s biggest heroes as we appreciate his genius and attempt to untangle the mystery.   This program consists of spoken lecture as well as live piano performance and is virtual, on Zoom.

Learn how to plant and grow a variety of vegetables from seed or transplant. The discussion will also include information on succession planting, as well as solutions to common pest and disease problems seen in home gardens.
