If you need to connect to the Internet, you can now access the Butler Public Library open wi-fi network while sitting on the new and newly refurbished benches in the playground across from the Library. Two new benches were built and the old benches renovated by Boy Scouts from Troop 86 in Bloomingdale, as part of Owen Kruger’s service project for the Eagle Scout badge. Jim Lampmann, the Butler Borough administrator, and Luis Rodriguez, the director of the Butler Public Library, along with Butler Department of Public Works employees, worked with Owen on the project. Anyone who needs help connecting to the Butler Public Library wi-fi network should send an email to luis.rodriguez@butlerlibrary.org.
